La participaci\u00f3n combinada de las energ\u00edas e\u00f3lica y solar alcanz\u00f3 el 22%, por encima del promedio <a href=\"https:\/\/ember-energy.org\/es\/paises-y-regiones\/el-mundo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mundial<\/a> y del asi\u00e1tico, ambos en el 17%. La energ\u00eda solar registr\u00f3 otro a\u00f1o de crecimiento exponencial, con 336 TWh de generaci\u00f3n, un aumento del 40% respecto a 2024.<\/p>\n<p>El cambio m\u00e1s significativo en la generaci\u00f3n de electricidad de China en 2025 fue una ca\u00edda absoluta en la generaci\u00f3n a partir del carb\u00f3n. La producci\u00f3n carbon\u00edfera disminuy\u00f3 en 71 TWh, la primera ca\u00edda de este tipo desde 2015. Los combustibles f\u00f3siles aportaron el 58% de la electricidad de China en 2025, frente a aproximadamente el 62% en 2024.<\/p>\n<p>China podr\u00eda alcanzar el <a href=\"https:\/\/ember-energy.org\/latest-insights\/china-energy-transition-review-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pico de consumo de combustibles f\u00f3siles antes de 2030<\/a> (link en ingl\u00e9s), gracias al crecimiento exponencial de las renovables y la electrificaci\u00f3n. En 2025, la generaci\u00f3n f\u00f3sil de China disminuy\u00f3 en 56 TWh (-0,9%), el primer a\u00f1o sin aumento desde 2015. A pesar de ello, estimaciones independientes sugieren que las emisiones reales podr\u00edan ser superiores a las cifras reportadas oficialmente. China ha tomado medidas para abordar el metano de baja concentraci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de su mercado voluntario de carbono (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccer.com.cn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CCER<\/a>), que ahora otorga cr\u00e9ditos por la mitigaci\u00f3n de gas de minas de carb\u00f3n con una concentraci\u00f3n de metano inferior al 8%.
