At the launch of Ember’s fifth annual Global Electricity Review, a range of experts discussed how to speed the global shift to clean electricity.
The event was chaired by Sibi Arasu (Associated Press) and includes a discussion with representatives from the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Global Renewables Alliance and ASEAN Centre for Energy.
During the event, Ember’s analysts presented the key findings of the report, which analyses electricity data from 2023 across 80 countries representing 92% of global electricity demand, providing the first accurate picture of the global electricity transition in 2023.
