Patricia joins Ember as a front-end developer to design and develop web-based data tools and interactive data visualisations.
With a bachelor’s degree in biophysics and a master’s in zoology from the University of British Columbia, she has worked in fields such as physics education, climate change mitigation, and food security and sovereignty. Patricia resides on traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) First Nations.
