Sarah has been with Ember since 2020, intitially as a Senior Energy Analyst and then Europe Programme Director. In her current position as Strategic Advisor, she plays a pivotal role in guiding Ember’s future strategy and deepening its influence on global energy transitions.
Sarah previously spent 15 years as an energy trader in both European and Australian markets. During this time she worked at utilities, financial institutions and commodity trading companies. Immediately prior to joining Ember, she was Head of Research & Intelligence for a global anti-human trafficking organisation.
She loves travelling, trekking, trail running and just generally being out in nature and used to be a volunteer mountain guide in Guatemala.
