New energy initiative led by Kingsmill Bond set up by Ember
Kingsmill Bond brings nearly 30 years of experience in finance, having held prominent roles at Deutsche Bank, Sberbank and Citibank in London, Hong Kong and Moscow. Following his distinguished career in investment banking, he worked at Carbon Tracker and RMI, where he established himself as a global authority on the clean energy revolution and its implications for financial markets and geopolitics.
Daan Walter brings extensive experience in clean energy analytics; before joining RMI, he co-founded and led McKinsey’s sustainable analytics unit, where he advised multiple governments and dozens of Fortune 500 companies. Sam Butler-Sloss is a talented analyst who has spent several years analysing cleantech trends at Carbon Tracker and RMI. At RMI, the team developed groundbreaking research such as the cleantech revolution, the battery domino effect, and peaking fossil fuel demand.
This new initiative will combine Ember’s comprehensive data with the incoming team’s distinctive perspectives and methods to forecast energy trends. The team has a proven track record in forecasting cleantech adoption that uniquely positions them to guide investors, businesses and other key decision-makers through the clean energy revolution, and the many disruptions expected to unfold over the next five years.
