Burcu joined Ember as a Communications Officer, focusing on strategic outreach and policy impact across Europe. Prior to Ember, she spent over a decade in journalism and in different regional and national communications roles at Greenpeace.
Having worked across different regions in Europe, she has developed a strong ability to craft and implement communication strategies that drive policy change at national, regional, and global levels. She holds a master’s degree in Political Sociology from Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne. Beyond work, Burcu is passionate about literature and cinema. A devoted sea lover, she spends as much time as possible by the water during the summer—when not experimenting in the kitchen.
