Lam focuses on energy system modelling to advance the energy transition in Southeast Asia. Previously, he worked at an Australian consulting firm, where he collaborated with organizations such as the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank on a range of renewable energy initiatives across ASEAN. His work addressed key issues including coal phaseout, regional interconnection, and critical assessment of energy policies.
Lam holds a Master of Engineering in Renewable Energy from the University of Canterbury and a bachelor’s in physics.
Outside of work, he enjoys playing sports, spending time in nature, and travelling.
