Bex joined Ember in 2025 as a Coal Mine Methane Data Analyst, helping to advance the understanding of coal mine methane emissions and uncover solutions to this overlooked climate challenge. She brings a strong background in atmospheric science and data analytics, including expertise in satellite data, emissions modelling, and environmental data visualisation. Her experience spans global collaborations on air quality and greenhouse gas research, with a particular focus on translating complex data into compelling insights for policymakers and the public. She holds a PhD in Atmospheric Science from University College London and a BSc in Geophysics.
