Adomas Liepa is a multidisciplinary researcher with a strong background in environmental science, data analysis, and machine learning. He has worked extensively with large-scale satellite data, high-performance computing, and scientific modeling to address climate and ecological challenges.
His role at Ember is to analyze satellite data and generate insights on methane emissions from coal mines and produces reports and media content to raise awareness. He supports the development of interactive dashboards combining methane datasets and monitors scientific literature to inform Ember’s research. He builds networks with NGOs, academia, and the remote sensing community to promote engagement and represents Ember at conferences to foster collaboration and guide future research.
Adomas holds a PhD in Remote Sensing from University of Würzburg and has experiance in academia as well as start-up scene. Outside work Adomas enjoys reading, loves to travel, cook and trying new things (most recently golf).
