Sam is a research manager at Ember where he analyses the global energy transition. He has published numerous articles and reports examining the rapid rise of cleantech and its implications. Prior to Ember, Sam worked at the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) and the Carbon Tracker Initiative.
Sam studied economics and remains keenly interested in the subject. During his studies, he co-founded the international student initiative Economists for Future, which advocated for a better economics of climate change.
