Sarah is a satellite data analyst who specialises in using remote sensing data to monitor methane emissions from coal mines. Before joining Ember, she worked as an academic researcher, where her role centred around developing climate and hydrological models.
She applied these models to predict the impacts of glacier melting on water resources and sea-level rise. Sarah holds a PhD in atmospheric transport modelling, focusing on desert dust, from the University of Bristol.
In her free time, she enjoys cold water swimming and spending time with family.
