Shiyao is the Asia Communications Officer at Ember. She has studied and worked internationally and is currently based in Paris. Before joining Ember, she managed digital communications at REN21, a renewable energy policy network, and collaborated with international and local NGOs on human rights advocacy.
She holds a master’s degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris. Her work is guided by a strong commitment to gender equality and climate justice.
