Dody leads Ember’s work on coal mine methane in Indonesia and Australia. His research focuses on the coal mining sector and related policies, working closely with key stakeholders to raise ambition and promote stronger methane reduction measures.
Previously, he spent nearly a decade with the private sector and the German development agency, where he developed renewable energy projects and advised the government on advancing renewable energy adoption in Indonesia. Dody holds an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from National Central University, Taiwan, and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Meteorology.
Outside of work, he enjoys cycling and watching movies.
