Elisabeth joined Ember’s Europe Team in 2021 as an Energy Policy Analyst.
Her work focuses on the energy transition, primarily the decarbonisation of the European power system and its key enablers, such as electricity grids. She publishes data-based, impact-oriented analyses with the aim of driving policy change at the EU and pan-European level to accelerate the energy transition. Previously, she was the lead energy modeller at Malta’s national energy agency, contributing to the development of the National Energy and Climate Plan amongst other policy documents.
She holds an M.Sc. in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh.
